The Heart Behind the Art Prayers Behind the Paint isn’t just a business… it’s part of my healing. In 2022, I walked through one of the hardest seasons of my life. I was struggling deeply, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and honestly, I didn’t know how I was going to come out of it. But somewhere in that broken place, God met me. What started as just picking up a paintbrush turned into something so much more. Painting became a way for me to process, to pray, and to reconnect with Him. Many of my pieces have scripture or prayers written underneath them, things no one else may see, but that mean everything to me. That’s where the name Prayers Behind the Paint comes from. Every piece I create carries a story. A moment. A prayer. A reminder that even in the hardest seasons, there is still beauty, still purpose, and still hope. Now, I get to share that with others. Whether it’s a painting, a pair of earrings, a class, or face painting at an event, I just want people to feel something good, something peaceful, something meaningful. Because this was never just about art…It’s about what God can do with a broken story.
